Rail Equipment at Sandon, British Columbia  2006 & 2017

Following pictures taken at Sandon on a motorcycle trip through Southern BC in 2006. I made this sidetrip mainly to find out about the railway equipment that was apparently stored there. The lineup of the pictures is from south to north on a piece of track left in place against a mountain. Equipment is one steam loco, 2 boxcars, 2 flats and one tank.

In a later year there was a project in place to restore this engine cosmetically, but this never came to fruition

Two CPR box cars. I tried to include their numbers.

On the day I was there a new transformer was being installed on a power pole. That's what's in the way of the pictures, was quite difficult to shoot around the flat-bed and hoist truck, parked right against the track. BTW, the transformer is meant to handle the increased load for the store and museum.
